在做比较复杂牙齿整形术前，我们必须做些准备工作，例如诊断性蜡形设计，判断医生初步想法是否可行。

Prelude to Makeover 

Mrs. Wang has a habit to clench (bite heavily) for no reason.  There is severe wear and tear on her teeth, particularly front ones. The top ones (#8-10) have chips on incisal edges (Fig.1 X and Fig.4 *).  The bottom front teeth have more severe chips (Fig.2 * and Fig.3).  In all, it looks like that there are several big gaps.  Or she appears to have lost some of front teeth (Fig.1 <).  Mrs. Wang wants to fix this problem.

First of all, we take impression, pour models and do so-called diagnostic wax-up.  We plan to place composite (white filling material, Fig.1' < and Fig.4' *) on the incisal edge of the top front teeth (8,9,10).  This is one of the most conservative dental procedures.

For the bottom front teeth, four crowns are needed to close gaps (Fig. 1'*, and Fig.2',3').
