How Does Mother Stop Baby's Finger Sucking?

Finger sucking is quite tenacious.  The baby does it while playing (Fig.1-1), being hungry (Fig.1-2, 1-3,1-4) and sleeping (Fig.1-5).

She feels surprised while bile is applied to her finger (Fig.2-1).  It is too bitter (Fig.2-2).  She cries for her dear life because she cannot do what she loves (Fig.2-3, 2-4, 2-5).

The bad habit shows no sign of coming back (Fig.3-1, 3-2, 3-3).

Now she is sleeping while holding hands in the air (Fig.4-1: no shot)), toy (Fig.4-2) and biscuit (Fig.4-4).  When she wakes up, she does not what to do with her fingers (Fig.4-3).
