Crooked Teeth and Cavity

Mr. Liu is about 40 years old.  He has not had a chance to get braces.  His front teeth on the top are pretty crooked (Fig.1,2).  To make things worse, two big cavities develop in these four front teeth.  The arrow in Fig.1,2 shows one of these cavities after removal of bacteria.  The other cavity is out of view.  These cavities between the teeth are usually due to the fact that these areas are not easy to clean up with toothbrush.  Besides, Mr. Liu does not use floss on the regular basis.

After filling (Fig.3), the patient should practice better oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing.  Otherwise, the cavities may come back easily.
