Dental Education Lecture: Chipped Teeth
Before | |
After |
Our front teeth on the top are easy to be chipped. If you have bad habit of biting spoon or fork subconsciously, one day the tooth may be chipped (single arrowhead in upper figure). It may be not so noticeable that you do not have to fix it. The front tooth may have larger chip (double arrowheads in upper figure) when you have an accident such as fall, and flying objects.
If the chipped teeth have no nerve exposure, simple white filling can restore our beauty (bottom figure).
