Fig.5: The distance between the lower left canine (#22)and the lateral incisor(#23) is more ideal than that of the lower right, but they are not placed deep enough.

In order to place these two implants deeper, an incision is made for alveoloplasty mesial to the site of #23 (Fig.5' black area).  The implants are placed deeper as shown in Fig.5".
