Bicon Implant Integrated Abutment Crown Seating 

  1. Surgical suction, 3 cc monojet with NS (normal saline), 2x2, cotton roll, regular and special q-tip (2mm vs. 3 mm), alcohol
  2. X-ray device
  3. Slow and high speed handpieces, bur block in case for proximal and occlusal adjustment, polishing disks or cup (prepare, but not open)
  4. Instruments: basic, articulating paper holder, forceps or hemostat to remove abutment or crown
  5. Prepare, but not open the following: syringe, #15, scalpel, periosteal elevator, guiding pin (2mm vs. 3 mm), sulcus reamers (including 6.5 mm sulcus reamer), curet, scissors, suture,
  6. Instruments needed from Bicon large implant cassette: mallet, offset or straight threaded handle, seating tip, seating holding device for anteriors (seating jig, yellow)

  8. Check Bicon Surgical Manual p 10-17 for arrangement of cassette
  9. After procedure, brush very well temp abutment, remove junk, such as calculus, ultrasonicate it, place it in a bag, find the label and seal
