There is no bone loss between immediately postop (Fig.9 I; implant) and 4.5 months postop (Fig.10 A: abutment).  There is no adverse effect of residual temporary cement around the abutment and the implant (Fig.10).  Clinically the gingiva around the immediate provisional is healthy (Fig.7,8).
