Fig.12 (taken 2 months post-banding; .018 stainless steel wires just placed) shows canine Class II relationship with sufficient retraction of the corner of the mouth and correct camera orientation.

The anterior segment of the lower wire is bending upward (^) suggests that the lower incisors are over-extruded.  As wires become thicker and change to rectangular, the lower incisors will be intruded.
