Correction of Lower Tooth Supraeruption Part I
Twenty-seven-year-old Mickey has short clinical crowns in the maxilla (Fig.1). Two of the premolars (#4,5) have severe caries. When immediate implants were placed (Fig.2: I), there is no room to install abutments, probably due to the supraeruption of the opposing teeth (Fig.2 arrows). Three mini-implants (2 buccal (Fig.2), one lingual (Fig.3 <) were placed for intrusion.
But the lingual mini-implant fell out several times. What should we do?
