Fig.33 (left lateral view, 4.5 month post bracketing, 16x16 ss).  The six anterior lower teeth are tied together in a figure 8 fashion.  Power chains are placed between the lower canine and the 2nd bicuspids.  Since the canine is relatively stable because of Figure 8 ligature, the 2nd bicuspid is going to move mesially.  Once the latter is done, the bicuspid can be tied with the anterior teeth as an anchorage.  The tooth #19 will be pushed mesiallly next.

The upper diastemata are to be closed by power chains between the 1st molars.
