A 10-year-old girl with history of hyperthyroidism has severe Class I malocclusion.  She is ready for treatment.  Oral hygiene has improved.  There is mild lip strain (suggesting anterior tooth protrusion, Fig.1).  The facial and dental midlines coincide (Fig.2).
