After one month of using the flexible wire (.0175' twisted wire), a .016' stainless steel wire is placed for the upper arch.  There is no tension around the upper canine.  The anterior open bite is worse than before the twisted wire was used.

The open bite is corrected by placing elastics between the upper and lower incisors.
