Twelve days post banding, UL2 is buccoincisally displaced due to the presence of the rotation wedges at UL1 and 3 (data not shown). The latter are removed.
Ten days later UL2 returns to normal position (Fig.6). Note the diastema between UR 1 and 2. It is also due to the presence of the rotation wedge at UR1, which is just removed.
When the teeth are narrow mesiodistally, rotation wedges should be used cautiously. Arch wires may be able to fix rotation automatically.
