Osteotomy starts with a 1.6 mm pilot drill, followed by bone expanders (2.6 and 3.0 mm), parallel to the crown of the tooth #13. The first intraop PA shows that the 3.0 mm bone expander is close to the root of the neighboring tooth (Fig.2).
