A 52-year-old man has periodontitis (Fig.2, taken 5 years ago).  The teeth # 15 has been extracted since.  Bone height 5 years ago is ~ 10 mm at the thinnest portion at the site of the upper left 1st molar; now 3 mm.

There is bone around the canine, suggesting that the patient is a bruxer.  He has had night guard.
