UF Implant with Temporary Abutment

A 72-year-old lady fractures the tooth #8 subgingival (Fig.1 black dashed line).  The root seems to be closer to that of the neighboring tooth (red dashed line) than the Incisive Canal (green dashed line).  After extraction (Fig.2) and socket treatment with Clindamycin, osteotomy is created slightly mesially (Fig.3 red line).  Considering her age and possible osteoporosis, osteotomy should be under prepared.  A 4x13 mm UF implant is placed (Fig.4) with placement of a 4.5 (1 or 3) mm temporary abutment for an immediate provisional.
