The implant and abutment at #6 are 4x15 mm and 4.5x5.5(4) mm, respectively. The 2.5x14(2) mm 1-piece implant is placed deeper than earlier (Fig.10). There is no bone loss 7 or 12 months postop, respectively (Fig.11,12). With access holes at #6 and 7 (fabricated by mistake), crowns are bonded with minimal residual cement (Fig.14 <). There is no hard (Fig.15,16) or soft (Fig.17 *) atrophy 26 months postop, i.e., 13 months post cementation, due to the presence of socket shield (Fig.15 <, as compared to Fig.6). In fact the tooth #8 has mobility and fremitus (short root/poor crown/root ratio, Fig.16); occlusal adjustment is done 13 months post cementation. The crown is dislodged 2 years 11 months post cementation.
