A tapered implant (Fig.4 (CT coronal section) green outline, 4x20 mm) is to be placed palatal to the atrophic buccal plate (*) so that a straight temporary abutment (pink) can be used for an immediate provisional (if primary stability is achieved).  Autogenous block graft is going to be placed buccally (red outline), while particulate allograft (red circles to cover exposed threads) palatally.

Approximate 8.2 mm of the implant is embedded in the bone.  6: pontic.
