Bone Expansion for Deciduous Tooth Immediate Implant

A 17.5-year-old man (ZD) has a displaced deciduous tooth on the upper right (Fig.1,2 A).  After extraction and Metronidazole treatment., start bone expansion with microosteotomes 1 and 1.5 mm if bone turns out to be soft as expected.  Otherwise use 1.2 mm pilot drill, followed by DIO bone expanders.  The initial depth will be 8 mm.  A smaller (UF) implant than what Fig.3 indicates will be placed so that there is room for orthodontic movement for the neighboring teeth if the latter turns out to be necessary.
