The 4x11 mm dummy implant (Fig.2 I) is palatally displaced (*). How to prevent the displacement with the flapless approach?
It appears that the osteotomy slides palatally between bone expanders (either #15 blade, Magic split or Magic expanders). If the sliding occurs between Magic split and Magic expanders, it must be due to the delay in loading the blades on the angled hand lever.
The solution is to take out the lever from Magic Sinus Kit. Pre-load the next blade beforehand. Before removing the earlier blade, insert the next one so that there is less likelihood for the osteotomy to be changed. Autoclave the extra lever in an autoclavable bag.
The flapless surgery is less traumatic.
