Sinus lift is done (Fig.9) before placement of 7x17 mm implant (I, >60 Ncm). A 4.5x3 mm abutment is immediately placed for fabrication of an immediate provisional.
Implant threads appear to have embedded into the lamina dura.
The implant appears not to be placed apically enough, as compared to the design. This leads to insufficient restorative space.
The patient returns for follow up 1.5 years post cementation (Fig.18,19). The gingiva is healthy.
