Fig.5 (mirror view): After extraction, the socket available for immediate implant (S) is buccal (without septum), whereas the palatal socket (*) is shallow and far away from the main socket.  In fact there is an advantage.  The socket is smaller and easier to be closed by a large implant.   The socket is being packed with a gauze saturated with Clindamcyin.
