There is no prep after implant placement and before provisonalization (Fig.5). The patient complains of bulkiness of the provisional associated with the 1-piece implant. Prior to impression, the linguocoronal end of the abutment should be trimmed at #24, whereas the buccocoronal end of the abutment at #22 will be trimmed.
