Two Central Incisors: One Immediate Implant; the Other Splinting

A 42-year-old man (YY) has severe generalized chronic periodontitis.  The tooth #24 has more mobility than #25 (Fig.1).  After bilateral Inferior Alveolar Nerve block, extract #24 and treat the socket with Clindamycin.  Finish lower arch scaling & root planing.  Splint #25 to #23 and 26 with retainer wire (Fig.2 red line (blue dots: composite).  In fact the wire may be used as a reference guide for osteotomy.  Place a 1.2 mm pilot drill from DIO 1-Piece Implant Kit buccal to the wire.  Place a dummy implant partially for trajectory confirmation before a definitive one (Fig.3: 3x14 mm) with bone graft (red circles).
