The patient has had chronic pain and swelling associated with the implant at the site of #26 (Fig.1,, one year post cementation of implant-supported bridge).  The most coronal threads are exposed with erythematous and edematous gingiva.

Fig.7: One and a half months post debridement and one month post mesh removal.  The buccal gingiva is thin.  The thread exposure is planned to be covered with connective tissue graft through tunnel technique.
