When a 7x17 mm tap (Fig.5 T) is placed, there are large spaces (S) in the sockets.  The spaces are filled with bone graft (Fig.7 G) after a 7x17 mm tissue-level implant is placed (I).  Six months postop, the peri-implant space is obliterated (Fig.11 *).   If there is no bone fill in the socket, it is evident in X-ray (Fig.16, compare to Fig.8).  A: abutment.
