Mini-implants are placed to intrude the tooth #15 (Fig.2 arrow), instead leading to distalization in 4 months (Fig.3 arrow). Other complications associated with mini-implants include slip of power chain and gingival laceration. Composite and tooth preparation (slot) are required to keep the power chain in place.
