At the mesial socket, the buccal crest is lower than the lingual one (Fig.9).  Place an implant as lingual as possible (green).  Place bone graft in the buccal gap (red circles), while the lingual crest may need to be truncated (red dashed line).  Choose a cemented abutment (blue) with the margin 1-2 mm supracrestally lingually, while the buccal margin may require trimming.
