The tooth #31 of a 41-year-old man appears to have combined periodontitis and occlusal trauma: severe mesial (M) bone resorption (Fig.4 (PA)).  In fact, the tooth #32 was extracted when a 5x17 mm implant was placed at the site of #30 (I).  The tooth #31 will be extracted and receive immediate implant and bone graft in defect areas, including the mesial (M) aspect of #31 socket.
