Two Guides are Made at the Same Time

In spite of financial constraint of a 62-year-old man with a dental insurance with limited annual allowance, CT and impression are taken for surgical guides for #3 and 30 at the same time in order to establish a better occlusion over the posterior overjet (Fig.1).  The implant at #3 will be placed this calendar year (Fig.2), while the one at #30 early next year (Fig.3).  The tooth #31 will be extracted with #30 implant placement.  The bone harvested from osteotomy will be mixed with Osteogen and placed in the #31 socket.  An immediate provisional at #30 will be extended distal to cover #31 socket.  Use Osteogen or Collagen plug if necessary.
