From RPDs to Implants

A 73-year-old woman's RPDs do not function well.  She wants to have implants on the left side first (Fig.1).  The narrow edentulous area between #12 and 14 does not allow 3 implants (Fig.2).  Two implants will be placed for a FPD (Fig.2,5,6).  Prepare DIO bone expanders.

The 2 lower left implants may be required for splinting, because of the narrow pointed ridge at #19 (Fig.3) and short bone at #18 (Fig.4, 4').
