To avoid drill and implant deviation buccally due to the hard lingual plate at #20, use 4.0 mm cortical drill after 3.5x7.3 mm drill. Then resume the normal drill sequence. After implant placement, make sure that they are placed deep enough clinically and radiologically. FC
