Are you Done?

With one carpule of Xylocaine with 1:100,000 Epinephrine, the guided surgery is finished at #19 for the 70-year-old man in such a quick manner that he asked "Are you done?".  He does not have postop pain.  The easy control of placement depth is favorite to the operator (Fig.1 >).  Equally amazing is the neutral implant position buccolingually (Fig.2 (1.5 months postop)).  The patient returns for impression 3.5 months postop (Fig.3).  The abutment screw is retightened 2 months post cementation while #30-32 FPD is sectioned for #31 implant.  In fact the abutment is incompletely seated with gaps vertical (Fig.4 *) and horizontal (<).
