After use of minimal amount of local anesthetic (to keep proprioceptive in case root surface violation), the miniimplants (8, 10 mm) are inserted ~ half of the length initially (Fig.3,4 (different angulation)).  If the trajectory were off substantially, the implant could be reversed with change in the trajectory or complete change in the position.
