Indication of Bone Graft for Severe Bone Loss?

A 73-year-old woman cannot masticate on the left.  It appears that the retainer at #19 breaks from a long-spanned FPD (Fig.1).  After extraction and gross debridement, Vanilla graft is placed in spite of severe bone loss (Fig.2 *).  She has returned once for follow up.  The soft tissue heals.  She has left the country.
