Loose Suturing Over PRF Membranes
A 63-year-old woman with coronary artery disease and hypertension (taking 100 mg Aspirin daily with bleeding tendency) presents to office with subgingival fracture of the tooth #9 (Fig.1). After packing sticky bone into the extraction socket with a condenser (Fig.2), two pieces of PRF membranes are placed, followed by loose suturing with 4/0 Chromic gut suture (Fig.3). In fact the paper-thin buccal plate becomes bulging post bone graft condensation (*).
