5x5 cm CBCT is taken immediately postop (Fig.5).  The implant is too palatal to the socket shield (Fig.5 *).  3 D image is a palatal view.  The osteotomy should have been initiated more buccally.  Contact between the socket shield and the implant should have no ill effect.
