No Screw Loosening with Bicon Implant

A 70-year-old man agrees to have an implant to be placed at the site of #2 (Fig.1).  A 6x5.7 mm implant is placed ~ 3 mm subcrestal and covered by autogenous bone coronally (Fig.2 *).  The implant plateau is surrounded by the bone 5 years 4 months post cementation (Fig.3 arrowheads).  The implant fins are fully protected.  Equally amazing is no history of screw loosening in spite of off-center placement of the implant.
