Off axial placement of the implant (Fig.5 I) and abutment (A) is striking in the immediately postop PA (Fig.5). Black *: septum; white *: bone graft.
In other word, the implant is placed mesially. There would be a problem if the patient wanted to move #20 distally orthodontically.
Four months postop, the bone density in the original mesial (Fig.11 <) and distal (D) sockets increases, suggesting osteointegration.
