The degree of the lingual concavities is severe (Type III, more than 3 mm) corresponding to the lower 2nd molars of a 49-year-old Chinese lady (Fig.13,14 <).  A 6x14 mm gingiva-level implant is predicted to be placed safely without compromising the inferior alveolar canal (N) or the submandibular fossa (Fig.13).
