Practical Anatomy for Implantology (中文)

We have had anatomy knowledge to cover our daily practice.  How to use it sufficiently is what this section is all about.  First at all, note the critical situations: the mandibular 2nd premolars and 2nd molars, which are closely associated with the inferior alveolar nerve.  Second, let your staff prepare for the case and remind you of some of important steps related to implantation. Third, take a good preop PA.

Placement of implant at the lower 2nd molar is also related to the submandibular fossa.  Overdrilling may perforate the lingual plate and injury the lingual artery, which in turn causes fatal bleeding.
