Prevent Microleakage Without Crown

A 48-year-old man, dental phobic, wants minimal dentistry.  The tooth #29 has large periapical radiolucency, extending mesial (Fig.1 *) and a fistula, apparently associated with the tooth #28 (Fig.2 *).  The single canal has been debrided with 30/.06 rotary file and medicated with CaOH paste.  To avoid microleakage without crown, gutta percha (Fig.3 white outline) will be cut apical to the distooclusal compostie (C).  The fistula shrinks with no discharge 16 days post application of Calcium Hydroxide paste (Fig.4).  RCT will be finished 2-3 weeks.
