Extraction Orthodontics
A 17-year-old man finishes extraction orthodontics in 2 years 1 month, as compared ~ 1 year for non-extraction case. The second molars should have bands, to be placed after extraction. Anchor should include the 2nd molars. The parent wants to finish treatment early. The extraction spaces are basically closed by power chains with 6s' mesialization. The diastema between U3/5 relapses while posterior interdigitation is being carried out. Power chains have to be used before debanding; therefore the posterior interdigitation is not ideal
