2nd Molar Cross Bite

A 51-year-old woman agrees to correct cross bite of R7s 10 years post UR6 crown (Fig.1,2).  Composite is placed in LR6 (Fig.3 C) and LL7 for clearance.  Lingual buttons are placed in the buccal surface of UR7 (Fig.3 <) and lingual surface of LR7 (Fig.6 ^) with 6 oz. elastic in between.  Cross bite correction finishes in 3 months.   Photos (Fig.4-6) and PAs (Fig.7,8) are taken 11 days post orthodontic treatment.
