A 45-year-old man with normal facial profile (Fig.1-4) and malocclusion confined to UL quadrant (Fig.5-6) agrees with comprehensive orthodontic treatment. UL 8 will be extruded for 9 mm. It appears to be necessary to use the mandibular teeth as an anchor once a rectangular wire is placed. A provisional at UL6 should be narrow mesiodistally.
