There is small gap (Fig.6 arrowheads) around the implant (I).  Bone graft or suture appears not so necessary.  The wound is protected by perio dressing.  *: erythematous gingiva (papilla) at the buccal furca is kept and should return normal once the diseased tooth is removed.
