After inserting a 3.5x5 mm abutment (Fig.6 A) and fabricating an immediate provisional, two pieces of Osteotape is placed against the buccal gingiva (inside the socket), followed by placement of allograft (50/50 cortical and cancellous mineralized) and Osteogen in the remaining socket (*).  The double layers of Osteotape are used to securely separate the socket from the oral cavity so that the fistula may disappears.
