Immediate postop complaint is watery discharge from the right nostril, probably related to the long implant (Fig.8 (panoramus taken 8 days postop) I), displacing the Inferior Turbinate (IT) and blocking the opening of the nasolacrimal duct (Fig.9).  *: bone graft underneath the nasal floor mucosa; L: lateral incisor.  When the implant is removed for truncation, gently suction through the osteotomy to bring out some of bone graft granules.
