Fig.6: After the 2nd round of bone grafting in the buccal gap (between the buccal gingiva and the abutment), the buccal gingiva is somewhat bulging (*).  Three to four weeks postop, the buccal margin of the provisional will be trimmed buccally so that the gingival margin may grow downward.
