Distally Deviated Root
Seven years post RCT (Fig.1), the tooth #4 of a 65-year-old woman fractures subgingival palatally (Fig.2). Since the root of the affected tooth is close to the tooth #3, osteotomy is established in the mesial slope of the socket (Fig.3). Change the trajectory once the drill has penetrated the lamina dura of the socket (Fig.4). The initial depth will be 20 mm for a 3.8x16 mm implant (Fig.5).
